Last Friday, Uber delivered ice cream on-demand in 144 cities, in 38 countries and on 6 continents. This event, which brought ice cream trucks and Uber ice cream vehicles to the doorsteps of our users, was the first of its kind in San Antonio. To say we felt the love would be an understatement!
One of our favorite parts of the day included special deliveries to two local Ronald McDonald Houses with special guest, Miss San Antonio 2014, Deidra Angulo. Supplied with endless amounts of ice cream, Uber swag, autographs and photo-ops, everyone got the chance to feel like royalty!
Uber San Antonio would like to say thank you to all who helped make this day so special for all. From San Antonio’s finest at Fire Station 38, to the all the kids who helped remind us that it’s the little things in life worth celebrating, we hope everyone remembers to stop and take a moment to enjoy something sweet this summer!
